Downgrading
- Investment Data Conversion During Unsyncing: All positions in the “Portfolio” subsection for each investment account subtype retain their original form and relevant data from the last available sync, and nothing is deleted. Syncing will not occur going forward, and any updates to position sizing will have to be manual.
General Use
- Getting Started: Users may enable and disable account sub tabs at any time by pressing the edit icon at the top right of the screen and add or remove accounts. If an account is removed, data is stored in case you ever re-enable it. A user cannot have multiple tabs of the same account type within the invest section in both the paid and free plans.
Initial Setup
Initialization Brokerage, Roth IRA, Traditional IRA, HSA, and 401(K).
The Vault
- Overview: The “Vault” is designed as a centralized hub where users can collect information and research on a specific investable security. There is one unique “Vault” per investable security located within each investment card.
Upgrading
- Connecting Institutions: When upgrading to paid, users gain the ability to connect one or more financial institutions to sync investments from multiple accounts to their portfolio. Users are not forced to sync an account when upgrading. To first connect an account, users may go to the sidebar located at the top left of the screen, press “Account Information,” scroll to the bottom, then press “Connect an Institution.” Users must follow the prompts from Plaid to connect their institutions to Vassant. Users may connect more than one financial institution, up to 5 maximum. Additional requests to connect more should be sent to support@vassantfinance.com.
